Chancellor Hall, 12th October - UTP’S Chancellor Hall came to life with the blast of foot- tapping music and eye-catching decorations during UTP Colours of Ranggoli Night 2013(UCRN). The most awaited event kicked off with the arrival of the Chief Guest, Dato S.K Devamany ushered by the high committee of the event. The real success of this event was in that it managed to capture the awe and attention of students of various cultures who joined the celebration to witness local Indian culture at its finest. The audience were entertained by mesmerizing performances by UTP Sangeeth, UTP Bhangra , The Stage Breakers and IPAD Dancers as well as guest performers from UNITEN Muadzam Shah and Azad Salam, a Malay singer who astonished the crowd by his ability to sing Tamil songs flawlessly. UCRN was later spiced up by an excellent performance from famous local artists Sheezay and Rubba-Band.
All profits made from the event were donated to schools and homes as charity, which was the main objective of this event. Project Director, Daneskumar Manogaran thanked all the committee members for their commitment and hard work in making the event was indeed a huge success.
