Enactus Is Here : Let’s Rock Cancer Concert

Chancellor Hall, 31^st July 2015 -The Chancellor Hall was buzzing with  excitement during the 'Let’s Rock Cancer Concert' featuring local Malay rock bands. The old school Emmett and Gang, Drama Band, Tonawarna, Azroy the Dashingmen and UTP's very own Last Resort entertained about a thousand guests for 4 hours. Hosted for the second time in UTP, the event was organized by Enactus UTP in collaboration with Yayasan Kanser Malaysia (YKM) and Yayasan UTP (YUTP). Aimed to raise funds for all three organisers, this concert was also a part of YKM's Cancer Awareness Tour. ‘Food Festival’ was also held prior to the concert officiated by Madam Nor Adela Dinyati, Director of YUTP. YKM's chairman, Mr. Mohd Royzilee Mustaffa shared his experience battling cancer and also talked about YKM's mission to instill cancer awareness among Malaysians. The highlight of the event was a special performance by a blind cancer survivor, Mr Razman. Wan Khairul Hazmi, the concert's Project Director commented that the response from the students was great and he thanked all those who worked hard to make the event a success. Needless to say, the audience had an enjoyable Friday night.

The audience just couldn’t contain their excitement.
