Spectrum Arts Run 2015

Multi Purpose Hall (MPH), 14th March 2015 - UTP Spectrum Arts
Run is an event that is organized by Sports and Recreational Dept. Students
Representative Council UTP in collaboration with UTP Co-curriculum Unit. They
had invited 200 participants from Rumah Anak Yatim Bait Al-Amin, Parit and
UniKL Royal College of Medicine Ipoh to join this creative run. The main
concept of this event is to establish a fun-based running event in a unique
way, where participants have to wear the doodled tshirt that they decorated
themselves.
The event was flagged off at 7.30am and completed at 12.30pm by two VIP’s, that
is Mr Ahmad PG Abdullah and Mr Azrizal Hashri. The run was about 4km long.
After a tiring and exciting run, came the most exciting moment, which is the prize
giving ceremony.
The first place for male category goes to Mr. Hamed Elghazar Abdullah,while the first place for female category goes to Miss Nur Ain Izzaty. Nonetheless, prizes were also given to the participants who won Bait Alamin, Best T-Shirt and Best Group Selfie respectively. Lastly, UTP's 'THE VIRTUOSO' were invited to perform four songs including Blank Space by Taylor Swift, Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran and many more.
